Groq Names Simon Edwards Chief Financial Officer

Appointment supports Groq’s global expansion and growing AI inference demand

Mountain View, Calif. — September 22, 2025 — Groq, the global pioneer in AI inference, today announced the appointment of Simon Edwards as Chief Financial Officer.


Edwards brings extensive leadership experience guiding technology companies through rapid growth and transformation. He most recently served as CFO at Conga, overseeing finance, corporate development, and legal. He was previously CFO of ServiceMax, where he led the company to profitability and expansion, culminating in its 2023 acquisition by PTC. Earlier, he held senior finance roles at GE, including CFO of GE Digital.

Edwards holds a BS from the University of the West of England and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
